Irvine Community Sports Club

Irvine Community Sports Club is Irvine's longest standing grassroots sporting institution.

Founded in 1972, Irvine Athletics Club, Irvine Rugby Club and Irvine Cricket Club founded Irvine Community Sports Club as a space for grassroots community sport, with Archery, Girls/Ladies Rugby later joining to offer a vast array of grassroots sports for the Irvine area.  

Located at the end of Waterside, on the old Marress Farm field, Irvine Community Sports Club covers 26.8 hectares, with a fullsized cricket outfield, hockey pitch, 400m running track, 2 full sized rugby pitches, 11 aside football park, 9 aside football park, 2 7 aside football parks and 5 training areas used by the sports.  

Within the vast facilties of Irvine Community Sports Club, we currently have a function hall, dance hall, bar area, multipupose room, 7 changing rooms and a gymnasium which operates for 20 hours per day, 365 days per year.

Irvine Community Sports Club focuses its intentions on lowering levels of health inequalities within the Irvine Bar area, with a focus on fitness and sport, as well as the operation of the TimeToTalk project, which focuses on all areas of Wellbeing, Addiction and Employability.
